Dan Brown is JTL National Electrical Apprentice of the Year 2025

Following his success in winning TClarke’s own Apprentice of the Year award, Dan Brown has been crowned Electrical Apprentice of the Year at the JTL National Awards 2025!

Dan completed his four year electrical apprenticeship with TClarke, supported by our long-term training partner JTL.  JTL made this award in recognition of his “technical excellence, commitment to learning and the contribution he has made both on-site and in training.”

Kevin Cleverley, JTL Training Officer who nominated Daniel said:

“Daniel was my top learner in 2024. Always efficient and reliable, his work was consistently of a high standard. By Year 4, he was running small jobs and was Bradbrooks’ go-to expert on theatre lighting. Daniel completed early, communicates well, and is a valued team member.”

Dan Brown himself commented:

“It’s a great feeling to be recognised for the hard work I’ve put in throughout the apprenticeship, and I’m still going to keep striving forward as an Engineer. I’m very proud to be representing TClarke at the event.”

Group Chief Executive Mark Lawrence congratulated Dan on behalf of the whole company:

“It is good news and Dan deserves this JTL national award just as much as he deserved our own TClarke award last year. As Mike Crowder said at the time, Dan won through a very strong line up of talent, coming through now in our business. We are very proud of him. As TClarke grows and builds success, we offer young engineers like Dan the strongest routes to career progress within the industry. Apprenticeship is something we believe in, invest in and commit to – Dan Brown shows what can be achieved through this route of education into work. We will ensure Dan has the career opportunities he deserves at TClarke.
