We are looking for Electrical Estimator to join our Newcastle Office.
Working from Newcastle Office estimating across various sectors including Healthcare, Education, Fit Out and Commercial across the North East and Yorkshire.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in the pre-construction setting in the M&E sector.
- Good commercial understanding / awareness.
- Good understanding of electrical installations
- BTEC HNC/ HND advantageous.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Checking of tender drawings and value engineering where possible.
- Overseeing of pre-construction process.
- Attending pre-construction meetings.
- Evaluates construction project costs prior to project selection, assess the complexity of each project, determining the cost of labour and material as well as specialist subcontractors and preliminary cost.
- Compile data, such as labour rates, material prices, and overhead, to estimate the project cost to present this information for final selection and submission.
