We are seeking a BMS Project Engineer to join our London team. Reporting to the Design Manager, the successful candidate will be working with an outstanding team of engineers on some of London’s most high-profile projects.

Requirements:
- Previous experience of being the lead BMS design engineer on projects where he/she has taken the design from specification through to completion.
- Minimum of two large projects (1M+ BMS package) or 2-3 years working on smaller projects and confident working on mission critical infrastructure design e.g. BMS/Controls/Network.
- Strong technical understanding of panel drawings, mechanical systems, high-level interfacing, networks/ CNS.
- Ability to work hard as part of a team.
- Trained in 1 or more controls systems.
- Good maths/ English skills.
- IT skills.
- Proficient in Word/Excel.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with design manager, project managers, design engineers, software engineers, commissioning engineers and electricians to ensure a good understanding of the design and implementation of the project at all stages, and that good working practices are adhered to, such as organising and storing commissioning and as-built information.
- Create the O&Ms at handover.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and scope gaps.
- Design BMS with energy efficiency in mind.
- Work with other project engineers and managers to create equipment schedules, document schedules, interface schedules, commissioning sheets, method statements, crib sheets, outline target programmes, functional descriptions, points lists, network topologies.
- Attend factory acceptance tests off-site for control panels. Coordinate with software engineers and arrange internal and external software and graphics acceptance tests to ensure adherence to functional design.
- Provide support to the sales and marketing teams by participating in customer meetings, tender reviews, presentations, and trade shows.
